How can I purchase and set up the KnowRoaming eSIM?
You can purchase the KnowRoaming eSIM on our website. Once checkout is done you will receive a QR code, on the payment confirmation screen as well as via email. Follow these steps to add the eSIM to your phone:

Go to Settings > Cellular or Mobile Data > Add Data Plan
Scan the QR code
Label your secondary data plan to KnowRoaming
For Android users
Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Mobile Network
Tap Advanced > Mobile Network > Tap Carrier > Add Carrier
Scan the QR codeb
Tap Start > Wait for the device to add your number > Tap Done
After the eSIM is added to your phone, download the KnowRoaming app and activate your package: Services > Packages > Activate
How can I scan the QR code using the same phone?
You can take a screenshot of your QR code, send it to another device then scan. You could also open your email on a computer and scan the QR code from your mobile device.

You don’t have to scan another QR code to buy additional data. You can go to your KnowRoaming app and purchase suitable data packages from there.
How do I set my data back to my home service upon return?
To set your Cellular Data plan back to your home service-
Go to Settings
Tap Cellular
At the top of the screen tap Cellular Data
Select “Primary” to turn on your home data services.
How can I remove the eSIM data plan after I’m done using it?
You don’t need to delete the eSIM from your phone. It will save you time for future use, buying new data packages directly in the KnowRoaming app without having to set up the eSIM profile again. If you still would like to erase your eSIM, follow these steps:
Go to Settings > Cellular.
Tap the eSIM label you want to erase.
Tap Remove Cellular Plan.
Tap the label, it may ask you to sync contacts, select your Primary line and the eSIM label will be erased.
How long do I wait to receive the KnowRoaming eSIM QR code after payment?
Once the payment has been processed, you will immediately receive the QR code on the payment confirmation screen. You will also receive an email with your QR code and payment confirmation details.
How can I check the balance of remaining data?
You can track your usage and remaining data through the KnowRoaming app.
Can I scan the same QR code with different phones?
No, QR codes can only be scanned once.
